raising Chelsea.

We went to the BYU football game last night against Nevada with Dan's family. It was the first game I've actually been able to go to without taking tickets. I got to sit in the stands (the second-to-highest row) and watch the whole game. It was way fun. We lost, but it was okay because when Nevada scored their first touchdown, their cheerleaders ran out onto the field with flags that spelled "N" "V" "E" "A" "D" "A" and that absolutely made my night. Sadly, they didn't do it a second time so I was unable to capture the moment on camera. It was super funny though. I very much enjoyed it.
I also found out we can rent sewing machines from the stake. I really want to. And I want to sew something super cute. Martha Stewart needs to pick something cute for me to sew!

 

fashion.

I used to be so into fashion and clothes. I don't know if it's just because we have no money to spend or because I'm not the trendy girl I used to be, but I'm not as into it anymore. However, I did find these gorgeous things online.

Looking at pretty dresses led me somehow to looking at Halloween costumes.

Holidays are oh so fun. There's just something about dressing up like someone else that makes Halloween so fun. Especially when you can dress up your husband and then you can both be way cute.

happy five-month anniversary.

Yesterday, Dan and I were married five months ago. And let me tell you, they have been the best five months of my entire life. He is the best husband in the world. He takes such good care of me, works hard in school so he can support us, does sweet things to brighten my day, is the cutest, most attractive man in the whole entire world, and is my best friend. I love him more than I ever thought I could love anybody. I feel like I am no where near close to being good enough for him, but I am trying every day to become a better wife. I can't wait to see what the rest of eternity is like with him <3

Someone stole our laundry the other day. They stole a pair of Dan's g's and my only nice white t-shirt. I am pretty upset about it. I wrote a letter addressed to the "Cambridge Court Laundry Thief" and posted it in the laundry room. So hopefully someone returns our clothes. Honestly, who steals garments???

Tomorrow Dan's dad, little brother(s), and grandparents are coming down to Provo to go to the BYU v. Nevada football game. It's going to be the first home BYU football game I actually get to watch and enjoy instead of standing at good old gate seven taking tickets. I'm pretty stoked about it. I like it when family comes into town and we get a chance to visit with them. Especially grandparents, since they are adorable.

annoying.

I met one of the most annoying people I have ever met today in my anthropology class. He embodies everything I dislike about people. During class, he was loud, obnoxious, and said stupid things to try and be funny. Then during class he was tapping his pen and shaking his leg super fast shaking my desk. Then after class was over, he was in front of me going out the doors of the building and started whistling. Like I said, everything I dislike about people.

a new chapter.

I am switching majors! Again. First I was archaeology, then pre-communications, and now I am switching to Family Studies! I have prayed a lot about it and I finally realized how much better and beneficial it will be to study families rather than broadcast journalism. I'm never going to have a career, but I am going to be a mom. I am so excited to get started. The best part is, I can still graduate at the same time Dan is going to--April 2012. I know this is the best decision for me, and for my family!

Oh dang. I am pooped. If I do that every day or even every other day, I will be good to go. I'm all hot and my legs (especially my thighs) are sore. That was amazing.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I don't care what anybody says, I love Britney Spears and Megan Fox. They are two of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. They have sort of an exotic look in their face and I freaking love it. Needless to say, I have girl crushes on them both. I love their beautiful hair (even if it isn't 100% their own), I love their face structure, I love their movements. I would love to spend a day in one of their bodies. It's crazy how gorgeous some people can be.

Anyway, I was just thinking today how unfair it is that some people are born so attractive and then some people are just born ugly. What makes it fair for someone to be born super attractive and some people to be born incredibly unfortunate looking?

I know that's a super shallow thing to think about, but I really am curious.

So I'm going to try and start a blog and actually write this time. I've tried several times in the past but I always end up giving up. So here's to a fresh start.
